ASGK Scholarship Program

The Allied Spouses of Geilenkirchen (ASGK) Scholarship Program is a proud initiative dedicated to supporting the educational goals of outstanding students within our Tri-Border community. We are committed to promoting academic excellence, leadership, and community involvement, and to investing in the future of the next generation.

Each year, ASGK awards scholarships to a select number of students who demonstrate:
  • Strong academic performance
  • Active community engagement
  • Exceptional leadership potential

This program is one of the many ways ASGK gives back to our community and supports lifelong learning. We are honored to play a part in each recipient’s journey and look forward to seeing their continued success.

Eligibility Criteria

​

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following requirements:
  • Be a dependent of a NATO military member (active or retired), a NATO civilian employee, or a current ASGK member
  • Plan to attend a fully accredited college, university, junior college, or accredited technical/vocational institute between August 2026 and May 2027
  • Have a sponsor who is currently assigned to Geilenkirchen NATO Air Base, USAG Benelux-Brunssum, JFC Brunssum, or an associated GSU
  • Reside in the Tri-Border community or plan to attend school through an accredited distance education program

Applicants must submit the following:
  • Completed ASGK Scholarship Application Form
  • Unofficial or official high school/college transcripts
  • A written essay
  • Community Involvement / Extracurricular Activities Form
