Community Resources & Services
ASGK supports spouses, partners, and families throughout the Geilenkirchen NATO Air Base and Tri-Border community. This page provides helpful local resources and information to assist you in navigating life on and around base.

Tri-Border Bases
ASGK proudly serves the Tri-Border community, uniquely positioned at the crossroads of Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium. In addition to Geilenkirchen NATO Air Base, neighboring bases include JFC Brunssum and USAG Benelux-Brunssum. Wherever you’re stationed in the Tri-Border area, you are part of our community.

School & Childcare
Our Tri-Border community offers a range of childcare and educational options for children from infancy through high school.
Child Development Centers (CDCs) are available on both Geilenkirchen NATO Air Base and JFC Brunssum, providing trusted care for young children. While Family Child Care (FCC) providers are not available in this region due to the absence of on-base housing, families can explore additional local childcare options on both the German and Dutch sides of the border.
We’re also fortunately to have the DoDEA International School located off base in Brunssum, serving students from Pre-K through 12th grade. This school offers a diverse and supportive environment for our community’s children to thrive academically and socially.
